Welcome To The Nooner Ranch
We have some of the finest deer hunting to be found anywhere in south Texas or in the country for that matter. Our goal has been to offer our hunters the opportunity to hunt and harvest truly exceptional trophy south Texas bucks. The Nooner ranch is approximately 1,400 acres and is protected by a high fence, to maintain the genetic integrity of our deer herd. If you've spent much time hunting on public lands you can appreciate how nice it is to know that your chance at truly outstanding buck won't be blown at the last minute by another hunter.
Country Music Rocks 2012 Dove Opener
Country music star and fellow Texan Kevin Fowler visited the Nooner Ranch Pavilion for an evening of "guns and guitars." Kevin, an avid hunter, shot a limit of whitewings, cleaned up, and played a 90 minute set of his Texas hits. Kevin's release of "Beer, Bait, and Ammo in 2000 allowed him to "quit his day job." Kevin boarded a plane the next morning and joined his father in Colorado on an elk hunt.
New Lodge For The 2012 Dove Season
We are in the early stages of building a new 2012 bed lodge that is going to be fantastic. ALL DOVE HUNTERS PLEASE NOTE:
You must have a Texas Migratory Game Bird Stamp Endorsement (Type 168) $7. It is required to hunt any migratory game bird (waterfowl, coot, rail, gallinule, snipe, dove, sand-hill crane, and woodcock). FAILURE TO DO SO WILL GET YOU A TICKET FOR SURE. There are usually several TPWD officers checking hunters everyday. So be smart and purchase your 2012-2013 migratory bird stamp long before dove season gets here.
